This series of drawing tutorials uses the hand as your model. I chose the hand because it’s always available to pose for you. Its complexity and flexibility mean that slight shifts in position or viewing angle lead to radically different – and fun – challenges in drawing.

My technique, though, will help you draw anything, whether a hand, a rocket ship, or a waterfall. I show how to use a few simple techniques to enable you to see in “right-brain” mode. Once you’re able to switch over to seeing this way – if you put in the effort and practice – you’ll be able to draw anything.
